I think thanking everybody in your status is the best choice, because it won’t take as long, many people will see it, and it will still apply to people thanking you after your status change (whereas you’d have to send out multiple group messages). It’s one thing if just a couple people commented, but posting back on everybody’s walls is impractical if there are 20+ people who posted on yours, and I bet pretty much all of them have gotten or given birthday wishes on FB before, so they should understand. If you want to, you could add something along the lines of “and is sorry that she doesn’t have the time to thank everybody personally” to the end of your status idea, ’cause people will still appreciate the thought.

Very basic rules but powerful. Facebook is a social networking site as we all know and its purpose is basically to meet people, communicate to loved ones and make friends. Therefore you should not post false information because by doing so, you are hurting people around you. Just be yourself and interact in the best manners that you have.

Yes u can, once u blocked them they won’t see what u say or write on ur’s or any-ones wall. U can then have them back on again as friends in ur privacy setting

Since on the social networks everything is so easy we have to give enough time to our emotions to come out. If we are expressing our grief, hate, dislike for any thing we have to be careful. This may spoil your social image.

Facebook is quite safe. You can alter your privacy settings so only your friends can see your profile, and if you don’t want some of your friends seeing everything, you can give them limited access to your profile.

When it comes to social media, PERMISSION is all important. Have people come to you instead of the other way around. That solves a LOT of the etiquette issues.

Glad that you posted the right manners when it comes to media networking. You have to think twice before you post anything about yourself and other people.
